Empire State of Mind

Ahhh ~ New York City. As a little girl, I used to dream of being Eloise in the Palace; as a teenager, I dreamed of being a Gossip Girl on the Upper East Side; as a college graduate entering the workforce, I dreamed of working in a notable Marketing/ PR firm.

So I have visited the magnificent city numerous times over the years. The most memorable time was when I had just moved into the city and got diagnosed with cancer weeks later. Needless to say my New Yorker experience was cut short. This trip in October 2019 was the first time I’ve been back since my departure in March 2017. I stayed in the city for almost a week visiting friends, dining at some of my favorite restaurants, and reminiscing the good old times.
