Philadelphia

After my New York trip, I met up with a friend in New Jersey and took the train to Philadelphia. As my friend did her graduate studies at University of Pennsylvania, she’s familiar with the area so she became my tour guide for the weekend. Since this was my second time in Philly, I wasn’t interested in visiting the tourism sites again.

We did however tour the Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens because I can never pass up on admiring mosaic art pieces. The gallery is a non-profit museum created by Isaiah Zagar using used items such as: tiles, bottles, bicycle wheels, mirrors, among others. The garden includes indoor galleries and an outdoor labyrinth, which I personally prefer.
